Job Objective The Senior Quality Analyst (SAP) is responsible for leading quality assurance activities across SAP applications, ensuring business processes, configurations, custom developments, integrations, and system enhancements meet organizational quality standards. The role drives testing strategy, test governance, defect management, UAT coordination, and quality assurance throughout SAP implementation, upgrade, migration, and support projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategic roles & responsibilities

SAP Testing & Quality Management

- Develop and implement SAP testing strategies, frameworks, and quality standards.
- Lead Functional, Integration, System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Ensure validation of end-to-end business processes across SAP modules.
- Review and approve test cases, test scripts, and testing documentation.
- Ensure quality compliance throughout the SAP project lifecycle.

Defect & Issue Management
- Lead defect triage meetings and prioritize issue resolution.
- Analyze critical defects and conduct root cause analysis (RCA).
- Monitor defect closure and testing quality metrics.
- Work with SAP Functional and Technical teams to ensure timely resolution of issues

SAP Release & Change Management




- Support SAP upgrades, enhancements, rollouts, and release cycles.
- Validate transports and ensure successful deployment to production environments.
- Assess risks associated with SAP changes and recommend mitigation actions.

UAT Leadership

- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing activities with business stakeholders.
- Ensure business scenarios are adequately tested and signed off.
- Facilitate user workshops and testing reviews.

Data & Process Validation
- Validate master data migration, transactional data accuracy, and business reports.
- Verify compliance of SAP processes with business requirements.
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP and third-party applications.

Reporting & Governance
- Prepare quality dashboards and testing status reports.
- Track testing KPIs and quality metrics.
- Present quality updates and project readiness assessments to leadership.

Continuous Improvement

- Identify testing process improvement opportunities.
- Support implementation of test automation initiatives.
- Drive best practices in SAP quality assurance and testing governance.
