About the RoleThe Sr. Financial Analyst, Treasury supports DAI's United States Treasury operations from India. In this role, you will run the daily cash and liquidity engine of a multi-entity business, prepare the forecasts that drive borrowing decisions, and execute the controlled payment and banking activity that keeps the company funded.
This is a role for someone who wants to master corporate treasury from the inside. You will build deep expertise in cash positioning, short-term forecasting, payment controls, bank platforms, and the working-capital drivers behind liquidity - moving beyond processing transactions to explaining what is happening to cash, why, and what should happen next.
You will own assigned Treasury processes end-to-end after training and handoff, working directly with the Sr. Manager, Treasury & Risk and with partners across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Accounting, FP&A;, Payroll, and the operating businesses. You report to a local people manager in India and take your work direction, priorities, and escalation from Treasury in the United States. The position is fully dedicated to Treasury.
The role follows US Central Time business hours with a defined daily overlap window of [INSERT WINDOW, CT AND IST]. Full-day overlap is not required. Success in this role comes from combining technical strength with precision, pace, sound escalation judgment, and the initiative to find the answer without being asked twice.
What You'll Do• Prepare, validate, and distribute the consolidated daily cash report across all entities in the Treasury scope, and monitor daily balances, activity, and expected account debits.
- Position accounts and identify routine funding requirements, then initiate approved funding, intracompany, and intercompany transfers within assigned transaction classes and limits.
- Own the weekly consolidated line-of-credit forecast. Coordinate recurring inputs, chase missing information, investigate variances and unsupported assumptions, and draft a supported draw or paydown recommendation for review. Availability runs until the forecast and related request are finalized and sent, subject to a cutoff of [INSERT CUTOFF, IST].
- Maintain the rolling 13-week cash forecast, including input coordination, model updates, source validation, entity-level detail, and assumption documentation, and prepare weekly forecast-versus-actual analysis with root-cause follow-up to source owners.
- Build and maintain recurring liquidity reporting, including a weekly operational dashboard and a monthly analytical liquidity outlook.
- Generate and validate payment files and enter, submit, or initiate approved payments and transfers through HighRadius, bank portals, and other approved Treasury workflows. Monitor acknowledgments, rejections, completion status, and cutoff deadlines,
and investigate exceptions through to resolution.
- Monitor positive pay and fraud-control queues, validate items with source owners, document the case, and prepare recommended responses. Escalate fraud indicators, unsupported instructions, beneficiary changes, and duplicates immediately.
- Reconcile Treasury system, bank platform, and ERP data. Investigate differences, maintain supporting evidence, and escalate unresolved or unusual items.
- Support HighRadius and related Treasury platforms, including data, bank-feed, and workflow validation. Log and investigate incidents, track resolution with vendors and IT, and support implementations and enhancements through user-acceptance testing and post-launch stabilization.
- Prepare and track system access requests, maintain access inventories, and support periodic access recertification.
- Prepare and maintain bank account, service, KYC, signer, mandate, and implementation documentation. Validate recurring bank fees against approved schedules and support periodic pricing, yield, and service-economics analysis.
- Prepare and validate working-capital and liquidity-driver metrics, including DSO, DPO, and cash conversion. Investigate the drivers, quantify the cash impact, and prepare supported observations for review.
- Maintain debt calendars, schedules, principal and interest detail, fee support, and debt-service forecast inputs. Prepare covenant calculations and lender-package schedules using approved definitions for review before any external use.
- Maintain insurance calendars, certificates, invoices, and data requests, and support premium and claim cash-impact analysis. Monitor approved clearing-broker and portfolio operating activity and incorporate cash effects into reporting.
- Keep procedures, process calendars, control documentation, issue logs, and testing evidence current, and maintain a handover pack for every owned process so the work can be picked up during absence without recreating it.
- Note that final payment approval, final release, signer authority, borrowing instructions, and all financing, investment, banking, and insurance decisions are reserved to the Sr. Manager, Treasury & Risk and other authorized personnel. You prepare, initiate, analyze, and recommend within documented limits and controls.
What Makes You SuccessfulYou have an eye for detail. A balance that does not tie, a payment file that does not foot, a beneficiary that changed since last month, or a forecast input that moved without explanation catches your attention, because in Treasury those details are the control.
You bring urgency. Bank cutoffs, funding deadlines, and positive pay windows do not move. You prioritize around timing and consequence,
and you know which items cannot wait until tomorrow.
You escalate well. You know the difference between a question you should work through yourself and one that needs the Sr. Manager immediately. You raise the second kind rapid, with the facts already assembled.
You are resourceful. You work through unfamiliar banks, platforms, entities, and datasets and find the information you need without waiting to be handed it.
You operate independently across distance. Your manager is ten and a half hours away. You communicate status proactively, flag blockers early, and keep work moving without daily supervision.
You explain the answer, not just the data. You can summarize what happened to cash, why it happened, and what it means for the week ahead.
You are disciplined about documentation. You keep procedures and working files current because someone else may need to run your process tomorrow.
What We're Looking For• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7 to 8 years of relevant finance experience, including at least 2 years in corporate treasury, cash management, or treasury operations.
- Prior experience supporting United States or global Treasury operations.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, large datasets, data validation, and maintenance of recurring forecasting and analytical models.
- Experience with a treasury management system, cash management platform, or comparable financial operations platform.
- Experience using bank portals and interpreting balances, transactions, payment status, acknowledgments, and rejections.
- Direct ERP experience, including data extraction, validation, and reconciliation.
- Strong data validation, cross-source reconciliation, segregation-of-duties, and access-control experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage recurring work independently within documented controls, deadlines, and approval structures, and to investigate exceptions and escalate appropriately.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with United States stakeholders across a significant time difference.
- Willingness to work the scheduled US Central Time overlap window on an ongoing basis.
Preferred Qualifications• B.COM, MBA Finance with treasury experience of 7-8 years. Any additional certification in Treasury would help.
- Multi-entity liquidity management and rolling cash-forecasting experience.
- HighRadius, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or Power BI experience.
- Experience supporting United States stakeholders from India or in a global shared-services environment.
Why This Role Matters
- Cash is the constraint that every other decision runs through. This role sits at the center of it, spanning a manufacturing business and a capital markets business, with direct exposure to lender reporting, covenant mechanics, working-capital drivers, and a live ERP implementation. You will see how liquidity decisions actually get made, build the technical foundation that corporate treasury careers are built on, and work dire
