Senior Technical Specialist - CAN, Embedded Systems, C++

Job Summary

. Vehicle level communication requirements definition along with customer

1. Vehicle level ECU network analysis and support for CANTX and RX verification, Design in vehicle network topologies like CAN/CANFD, LIN, FlexRay, UDS, etc
2. Setting up the PREEVISION tooling system to manage the ARXML and dbc file deliveries
3. Establishing the links between the PREEVISION tool and the JAMA/DNG requirements for CAN signals
4. Tracking of deviations of requirements/dbc in JAMA/DNG/PREEVISION
5. Developing executable codes for Vector Emulator based on the signal routing table and ARXML files
6. Developing test cases for verifying CAN bus health
7. Get involved in requirement elicitation process with customer
8. Analyze the requirements for completeness, correctness, any conflicts with other requirements, and compatibility with other interfacing features/functions and review and resolve issues with function owners
9. Develop requirements based on inputs feature/business requirements, product specifications, reference documents, regulation, and functional objectives of various vehicle systems/subsystems/components
10. Collaborate with customer engineering team for requirement reviews and approvals
11. Conduct meetings with customer stakeholders for resolving technical issues while Requirement engineering as well as review and approvals for requirements

Key Responsibilities

1. Electronics, Electrical Min. 8 plus years of experience in Systems Engineering & vehicle communication networking
2. Requirements Engineering & Management

Deep knowledge of vehicle E/E vehicle network architectures & profiency with testing and analysis tools like Canoe, Canalyser or neoVI
4. Able to translate high level customer requirements into System Requirements, functional and non-functional requirements, a logical and physical architecture using design and change management tools (e.g. JAMA, IBM Rational DOORS, Rhapsody)
5. Knowledge of System Architecture and Modelling Tools – like Enterprise Architect, MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow
6. Experience in System Engineering, Sys/SW/HW architecture design, System Test execution on HILS, or Vehicle
7. Advanced knowledge of DOORS or other requirement capture tools, including adding and modifying objects, linking, filtering, etc
8. Functional Safety knowledge and how to capture this in system requirements
9. Ability to lead technical and process issues within a Project Team workplace
10. Strong oral and written communication. Highly disciplined, analytical and self-committed
11. Hands on experience with either ADAS or Aerospace system development project.
12. Good understanding of System and Safety Engineering and Hands on experience with FMEA, P-Diagram, Fault Tree Analysis.
13. Thorough understanding of system engineering principles and the software development lifecycle
14. knowledge of ISO 26262 standard and Safety Critical Product Lifecycle Development
