Qualibar is looking for a Sr. Technical Delivery Manager who can take ownership of both technical delivery and engineering team management. The candidate should be a robust hands-on technologist with proven experience managing a technical group and delivering products in a USA-based product company.

The role requires someone who can work closely with US stakeholders, understand product requirements, make sound technical decisions, and actively contribute to development when required.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a group of software engineers, providing technical direction, mentoring and delivery ownership.
- Own the complete delivery lifecycle, from requirements and technical planning through development, testing, release and production support.
- Remain hands-on technically with coding, architecture, debugging, code reviews and solving complex technical issues.
- Design and develop scalable applications using PHP, Laravel, React and MySQL.
- Drive technical architecture, coding standards, performance, scalability, security and engineering best practices.
- Work closely with US-based Product and Business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Lead the integration and adoption of AI/GenAI capabilities into products and engineering processes.
- Evaluate and implement technologies such as LLMs, AI APIs, RAG, AI Agents and automation where applicable.
- Monitor delivery progress, identify technical risks and dependencies and ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct code and architecture reviews and maintain high engineering quality across the group.
- Mentor engineers, develop technical talent and establish a culture of ownership and accountability.
- Participate in technical discussions, product planning,



estimation and strategic engineering decisions.

Required Experience & Skills

- 10+ years of overall software engineering experience.
- Proven experience in a Technical Delivery Manager / Engineering Manager / Technical Manager or similar senior technical leadership role.
- Mandatory: Previous experience working in a USA-based product company.
- Strong hands-on experience with:

- PHP

- Laravel

- React

- MySQL
- REST APIs and system integration
- Practical experience with AI/GenAI technologies and their implementation in products.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, scalable application design, performance optimization, security and cloud technologies.
- Proven experience managing and mentoring a group of engineers.
- Experience working directly with US-based stakeholders and product teams.
- Strong communication, technical problem-solving, decision-making and leadership skills.

- Previous Technical Delivery / Engineering Management experience.
- Previous experience in a USA-based product company.

- Must be comfortable remaining hands-on technically, rather than being limited to project or people management.
