- Perform structural analysis, design and review of industrial plant structures.
- Develop and review structural models using STAAD Pro and/or RISA.
- Design and analyze steel and RCC structures.
- Design of pipe racks, process structures, equipment platforms and equipment foundations.
- Design of machine/equipment foundations, pile foundations, raft and isolated foundations.
- Review structural GA, fabrication, vendor and reinforcement drawings.
- Prepare Design Basis, design calculations, technical reports and MTO/BOQ.
- Coordinate with Piping, Mechanical, Process and other disciplines for load inputs and interfaces.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors and fabrication teams.
- Perform design checks and ensure compliance with applicable US structural codes.
Mandatory Requirements
- 7-10 years of relevant Structural Design experience.
- Strong experience in Industrial / Process Plant structures.
- Hands-on experience in STAAD Pro or RISA.
- US Code experience is mandatory AISC / ASCE / ACI / IBC or equivalent relevant US standards.
- Strong experience in steel structural design.
- Positive understanding of industrial structural systems such as pipe racks, platforms, equipment structures and foundations.
Preferred
- Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Chemical / Power / EPC experience.
- Experience with both STAAD Pro and RISA.
- US project experience.
- Valid US B1/B2 Visa preferred, not mandatory.
- Experience with connection design tools such as RAM Connection / IDEA StatiCa.
- Exposure to Eurocodes/other international standards.
