We are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer with strong experience in precast and RCC building structures. The candidate should have hands-on expertise in structural analysis and design using ETABS and PROTECTED and should be capable of independently handling structural design and coordination.
Role & responsibilities
- Structural analysis and design of precast and RCC building structures.
- Develop and review structural models using ETABS and SAFE.
- Design of columns, beams, slabs, shear walls, foundations and other structural elements.
- Design and detailing of precast elements and connections/joints.
- Review structural drawings, design calculations and reinforcement details.
- Coordinate with architectural, MEP, precast production and site teams.
- Review shop drawings and resolve structural/site-related technical issues.
- Carry out structural checks as per applicable IS Codes and project specifications.
- Review structural analysis/design submissions from consultants and vendors.
- Provide technical support during precast production, erection and site execution.
- Ensure structural designs are safe, economical and practical for execution.
Preferred candidate profile
- Experience: 7-12 years, preferably with significant experience in precast/high-rise building structures.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of ETABS and SAFE.
- Good understanding of precast structural systems and connections.
- Strong knowledge of RCC design and structural detailing.
- Knowledge of relevant IS Codes, including IS 456, IS 1893, IS 13920 and IS 15916.
- Ability to independently review structural calculations and drawings.
- Good coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in high-rise/residential/commercial building projects will be preferred.
Qualification B. Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering
M. Tech in Structural Engineering will be an advantage.
