Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior SQL DBA & PowerShell Engineer to manage and support enterprise SQL Server environments. The role involves database administration, performance optimization, high availability support, automation initiatives, production support, and troubleshooting of mission-critical database systems. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in SQL DBA activities and PowerShell-based automation, along with experience in replication technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain large-scale SQL Server environments across production and non-production systems.
- Perform advanced database administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning activities.
- Monitor and optimize SQL Server performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Support backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery operations.
- Lead database upgrades, migrations, patching, and maintenance activities.
- Perform root cause analysis for major database-related incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell and SQL Agent.
- Support capacity planning and database growth forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to improve database platform performance and stability.
- Participate in production support activities and ensure adherence to operational best practices.
