Responsibilities

- Analyze business and functional requirements for smart meter applications and systems.
- Prepare, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform Functional, System Integration, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate smart meter data, meter communication, and billing-related workflows.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and O&M; teams to resolve issues.
- Support production deployments and post-release validation activities.
- Prepare test reports and provide regular quality status updates.
- Ensure system reliability and data accuracy within Smart Meter and AMI environments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience in Smart Meter, Utility, Energy
- Knowledge of meter operations,



billing systems, and field service processes.

Experience: 2-5 Years (or as applicable)

Requirements

- Exposure to Test Automation frameworks , Java, Selenium , Playwright , BDD, Cucumber.
- Experience in Manual Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
- Understanding of Smart Metering, AMI, Meter Data Management (MDM), or Utility domain.
- Experience in Test Case Design, Execution, and Defect Tracking.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar bug-tracking tools.
- Positive analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
