Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer Java with 5+ years of experience in Java-based application development. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in Java, web technologies, REST/SOAP APIs, Spring Boot, application servers, databases, and reporting tools.

The candidate should be comfortable working independently, handling application issues, delivering high-quality code within timelines, and collaborating effectively with customers and support teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver assigned tasks/stories within agreed timelines while maintaining high-quality code.




- Follow defined development processes, coding standards, and quality practices.
- Work independently on assigned issues and provide effective technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues.
- Take ownership of issues, raise them with relevant teams, and coordinate with support teams for resolution.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and contribute to product/process improvements.
- Support application performance and security initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and resolution of critical issues.
- Be flexible to support critical production issues beyond regular working hours when required.

Preferred Skills
- Excellent communication and articulation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Prior experience in application performance optimization and security.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Customer-facing experience is an advantage.
- Java certification is a plus.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant IT/software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java application development.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum or Kanban environments.
