Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (.NET / Integrations)

Job Role:

- Design, develop, test, and deploy integrations between a core business/SaaS application and external systems across multiple domains: CSP/distributor provider platforms (Microsoft Partner Center, Ingram Micro, TD Synnex, Pax8), accounting and ERP systems (QuickBooks Online, Dynamics 365 Business Central), payment gateways, PSA platforms (ConnectWise, Autotask), and tax engines (Avalara).
- Own the full integration lifecycle data-contract design, build, unit and reconciliation testing, deployment, and post-release monitoring with limited specification and minimal oversight.
- Handle the realities of commerce and financial integrations: subscription and invoice synchronization, reconciling discrepancies between systems of record, idempotency and retry/error handling, rate limiting, pagination, and webhook processing.
- Build the end-to-end feature, not just the backend: implement the React/TypeScript front-end that surfaces these integrations, alongside the .NET services behind them. This is a full-stack role.
- Designing and developing APIs for external/third-party consumption.
- Writing unit & reconciliation tests against your own code
- Conducting code reviews of others
- Identifying and fixing issues in software design, code, and/or deployment processes.
- Participating in and improving the current release management process
- Working with the product management team to have features documented and

marketed
- Conducting internal feature training for the sales and support team




- Participating in the support process by being an L3 point of escalation

Requirements

- Solid knowledge of C#, .NET Core, and object-oriented programming principles.
- Comfortable working full-stack: alongside backend .NET, hands-on experience building front-end interfaces with React and TypeScript. This is not a backend-only role.
- Proficiency in software design patterns (SOLID, GoF) and best practices.
- Demonstrable experience integrating business applications — not generic REST API consumption — in one or more of: billing/CSP provider platforms, accounting/ERP systems, payment gateways, PSA/ticketing systems, or tax-calculation services.
- Practical understanding of the challenges specific to financial and transactional integrations: data reconciliation, idempotency, error recovery, and consistency across multiple systems of record.
- Comfortable working independently and owning delivery in ambiguous, loosely specified problem spaces — senior individual-contributor level, without requiring architect-level direction.
- Experience with SQL Server (query optimization, SPs, triggers) and Entity

Framework.
- Experience with Azure Cloud services (Functions, Container Apps, Blob Storage).
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)



and Agile methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of unit testing frameworks (NUnit/xUnit), debugging, and

troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, OpenID

Connect, JWT).
- Familiarity with asynchronous programming (Task Parallel Library, async/await).
- Experience using libraries for logging, ORM, exception handling, dependency

injection, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply principles like DRY, KISS,

separation of concerns.
- Good knowledge of development tools: Visual Studio, VS Code, SQL Server

Management Studio (SSMS), Postman.
- AI-first workflow: you use AI tools (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot) as the default starting point across your development workflow — planning, design, coding, testing, and review — not just as a fallback when you get stuck. Fluency in prompting and folding these tools into daily work is expected.

Nice to Have (Bonus):

- Prior experience working with CSP (Cloud Solution Provider) management or subscription-billing platforms is a strong advantage.

Any experience with Microsoft Power platform and Dataverse
- Exposure to PCF (PowerApps Component Framework) controls development and

debugging.
- Exposure to performance testing and monitoring (Application Insights, Grafana).

Required Qualifications / Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a

related field (B.E./B.Tech or equivalent).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft .NET technology stack.
