Bristlecone India Limited is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Integration to join the Smart Integration (API) – Delivery team. You will architect and implement next‑generation integration solutions that blend modern web technologies with AI‑driven development, browser automation, and performance‑focused system design. The role demands deep expertise in React/Vue, prompt engineering, and the ability to create robust, scalable APIs that power intelligent user experiences across our product ecosystem.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance integration APIs and front‑end components using React, Vue.js, or similar frameworks.
- Architect scalable frontend systems, managing complex state, performance optimization, and modular codebases.
- Integrate AI coding agents (e.g., OpenAI Codex) into the development workflow for rapid prototyping and code generation.
- Create and maintain browser automation scripts with Playwright or Puppeteer for testing and autonomous web tasks.
- Craft precise prompts for AI to generate production‑grade HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring uniqueness and quality.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Docker, and container orchestration for seamless deployments.
- Conduct code reviews, AI‑generated code audits, and debugging to uphold code quality and security standards.
- Collaborate with product, UX, and backend teams to define integration requirements and delivery timelines.
- Mentor junior engineers on modern web practices, AI‑assisted development, and automation techniques.
- Monitor and improve system reliability, latency,



and scalability in production environments.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of professional experience in web development with strong fundamentals in HTML5, CSS3/Sass, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Deep expertise in modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular, including server‑side rendering concepts.
- Proven experience with AI‑driven development tools, prompt engineering, and AI code auditing.
- Hands‑on knowledge of browser automation tools like Playwright or Puppeteer for testing and web‑research automation.
- Solid understanding of system design, state management, and performance optimization for large‑scale frontends.
- Proficiency with Git, GitHub Actions, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines for up-to-date deployment workflows.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with JSON, Fetch/AJAX, and WebSocket technologies.
- Ability to design and implement scalable, maintainable architecture for integration services.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a track record of delivering high‑quality code in fast‑paced environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing.
