About the Role

Our platform runs inside banks and financial institutions, and this role owns a module of it end to end — design, build, test, deploy and the support that follows.

It is a senior individual-contributor seat. You review junior work, you make the design calls for your area, and you are the person the team asks when something in your module behaves oddly in production.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own a module end to end. Design, build, test, deploy and support it. No handing off the hard half.
- Build async services. FastAPI and modern Python, against PostgreSQL at production volume.
- Integrate with banks. REST, webhooks and file interfaces against client systems, sandboxes and change windows.
- Review junior work. Code review that teaches rather than just blocks. Several juniors and freshers sit beneath this layer.
- Write tests as standard. Not a separate phase, not a later ticket.
- Tune what you built. Query performance, connection handling and cost — you own the numbers for your module.

What You Bring:

- 3–5 years in backend Python.




- FastAPI or an equivalent async framework in production, not in a tutorial.
- PostgreSQL — schema design, query tuning and migrations you have run against live data.
- REST API design, and integration work against third-party or financial APIs.
- B.E. / B. Tech / MCA or equivalent.

What Would Be Outstanding to Have:

- SQLAlchemy 2.0 async; Celery and Redis.
- Docker and a working understanding of how your code gets deployed.
- On-premise deployment at a client site.
- Lending, payments, collections or onboarding domain exposure.
- Backend: Python 3.11+, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy 2.0 async, Pydantic v2, Celery
- Data: PostgreSQL, Redis
- Integration: REST, webhooks, file interfaces, bank connectivity
- Delivery: Docker, CI/CD, pytest
- AI-assisted development: Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
