About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Snowflake Data Engineer with 610 years of experience in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Python, ETL pipelines, and Data Build Tool, with the ability to work closely with business and technical teams to deliver reliable and high-performing data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable data models using Snowflake to support business intelligence and analytics solutions.
- Implement ETL/ELT solutions that involve complex business transformations.
- Write complex SQL queries for extracting, transforming, and loading data, ensuring high performance and accuracy.
- Develop data engineering applications and automation using Python.
- Build and manage data ingestion pipelines from multiple sources such as databases, APIs, files, and cloud platforms.
- Work with Snowflake features including Streams, Tasks, Snowpipe, Time Travel, Dynamic Tables, and Snowflake Warehouses.
- Perform data modeling, including dimensional modeling, fact/dimension design,



and schema optimization.
- Implement CI/CD and version-control practices for data engineering solutions.

Required Technical Skills

- Experience 7+ years of data engineering experience with a solid focus on Snowflake architecture.
- SQL: Mastery of advanced SQL for complex data querying, optimization, and analytical processing.
- Python: Proficiency in Python for data pipeline automation, scripting, and building custom ETL/ELT processes.
- DBT: Extensive experience using dbt (Data Build Tool) for data modeling, testing, and documentation.
- Performance: Experience in Snowflake performance tuning, query optimization, and cost management.
- Cloud: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including cloud storage and security.
- Pipelines: Proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines.
- CI/CD: Familiarity with version control (Git) and data pipeline deployment workflows.
- Collaboration: Ability to work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Team player: Ability to work with team members and contribute towards organizational goals.
