Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Engineer – Civil to take ownership of construction execution and site operations for assigned work areas.

The candidate should have strong experience in building construction, site execution, subcontractor management and team handling. The role involves ensuring timely project execution, quality, productivity, material control and coordination with various project teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day construction activities and assigned work fronts.
- Plan daily and weekly site activities to achieve project targets.
- Read and interpret civil, structural and architectural drawings.
- Handle RCC, structural, masonry and finishing works as applicable.
- Manage Site Engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and labour teams.
- Allocate manpower and monitor labour productivity.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure timely completion of work.
- Prepare short-term look-ahead plans and track planned vs. actual progress.
- Identify delays and implement corrective/recovery measures.
- Coordinate with QS, Planning, Procurement, Stores, QA/QC and Safety teams.
- Ensure required materials, manpower, equipment and drawings are available on time.
- Monitor material consumption, quantities and wastage.




- Coordinate with QS for quantity verification and reconciliation.
- Ensure quality standards and approved specifications are followed.
- Minimize rework and close quality observations/site defects.
- Identify technical and execution issues and provide practical solutions.
- Maintain site records, progress reports and manpower details.
- Provide regular updates on progress, delays, manpower, materials, quality and site constraints.
- Take independent ownership and accountability for assigned work areas.

Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 4–6 years of relevant construction experience.
- Strong experience in building construction and site execution.
- Experience in managing subcontractors, labour and site teams.
- Valuable knowledge of RCC and civil construction activities.
- Ability to independently manage assigned work areas.
- Good knowledge of construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
