Position: Senior Sales Executive – Food Processing Machinery

Experience: Minimum 5 Years

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Sales Executive with a strong background in Food Processing Machinery Sales.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience in selling, marketing, and handling food processing machines, commercial food equipment, or related industrial machinery.

The candidate will be responsible for developing new customers, handling enquiries, understanding customer requirements, preparing quotations, following up with leads, negotiating with customers, and closing sales.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate new business leads through field sales, enquiries, references, and customer visits.
- Handle IndiaMART and other online sales enquiries and convert leads into orders.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable food processing machinery.
- Explain machine features, capacity, applications, pricing, and technical specifications to customers.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations and proposals.
- Conduct customer visits and product demonstrations when required.
- Maintain regular follow-up with existing and potential customers.
- Negotiate prices and commercial terms with customers.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, commercial kitchens, hotels, restaurants, caterers, food manufacturers,



and other business customers.
- Coordinate with the production and technical teams regarding customer requirements and machine specifications.
- Maintain proper records of leads, enquiries, follow-ups, quotations, and sales.

Required Skills

- Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience in Food Processing Machinery or related machinery industry.
- Strong B2B sales and field sales experience.
- Positive knowledge of food processing machines and their applications.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend the right machine.
- Experience in handling IndiaMART leads / online enquiries will be an advantage.
- Target-oriented and capable of independently handling the complete sales cycle.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits when required.
- Basic computer knowledge and experience in preparing quotations and maintaining customer records.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates currently working or previously worked in Food Processing Machinery / Commercial Kitchen Equipment / Industrial Machinery sales are strongly preferred.

Candidates with only general retail sales experience or unrelated sales experience may not be suitable for this position.

Salary

₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Salary will be based on relevant experience, product knowledge, sales performance, and interview performance.
