We are looking for a dynamic Sales Executive with experience in consumer products/FMCG or related industries. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales, developing distributor/dealer relationships, expanding market coverage, and achieving assigned revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers, and channel partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
- Conduct regular market visits to understand customer requirements, competitor activity, pricing, and market trends.
- Ensure proper product availability and visibility across retail outlets.
- Generate leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
- Manage distributor/dealer orders and coordinate with internal teams for timely delivery.
- Implement promotional schemes and sales initiatives in the assigned territory.
- Monitor sales performance,
collections, inventory, and outstanding payments.
- Prepare regular sales reports, market feedback, and competitor analysis.
- Ensure strong customer relationships and resolve product/service-related concerns.
- Support new product launches and market expansion activities.
Required Skills
- 2–5 years of experience in Consumer Products / FMCG / Consumer Durables / Electrical / Home Appliances or related industries.
- Strong field sales and channel sales experience.
- Experience handling distributors, dealers, retailers, or channel partners.
- Good understanding of territory management and market development.
- Robust communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Target-oriented and comfortable with extensive market visits.
- Ability to identify new customers and develop business opportunities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and sales reporting.
