ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer – West to drive sales and business development for Cosmos Pumps across the Western region. The role will focus on new customer acquisition, key account management, project sales, channel development, and achievement of territory sales targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets for the territory.
- Develop new customers and identify business opportunities across Mumbai, Pune, Nashik and Gujarat.
- Manage relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, EPCs, dealers and other project stakeholders.
- Generate, follow up and convert enquiries into orders.
- Promote Cosmos Pumps’ industrial and dewatering pump solutions.
- Understand customer applications and recommend suitable technical solutions.
- Prepare quotations and techno-commercial proposals and negotiate orders.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Service, Production,
Logistics and Finance for smooth order execution.
- Develop dealers/channel partners and expand regional market presence.
- Monitor competitors, market trends and upcoming projects.
- Ensure timely payment collection and maintain healthy receivables.
- Submit regular sales reports, forecasts and market updates.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in the pump industry – mandatory.
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industrial and dewatering pumps and their applications.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation and customer relationship management skills.
- Good techno-commercial understanding.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Mumbai, Pune, Nashik and Gujarat.
