The role will be responsible for managing Retail Accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, compliance and timely reporting in line with corporate finance policies and applicable accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily, monthly and annual Retail Accounting transactions
- Drive month-end & year-end closing activities and financial reporting
- Manage bank reconciliations, cashbook verification and GL reconciliations
- Work on SAP, AMBIT, CMS, QlikView and other finance systems
- Manage retail portfolio accounting including STD, NPA, AHS and reserves
- Prepare closing journals, schedules, registers and portfolio reconciliations
- Support IFRS, US GAAP and local GAAP reporting requirements
- Ensure compliance with SOX, regulatory,
tax and internal control requirements
- Support internal and external audit, SOX and compliance testing
- Review Balance Sheet variances and resolve accounting abnormalities
- Drive process improvement, automation and system enhancement initiatives
- Participate in UAT, system implementation and finance transformation projects
- Partner with CFO, CAO, FP&A;, Country Finance and Retail Business teams
