Hiring a Senior React Native Engineer at Ionic Wealth.

Our clients open the app to check their portfolios, execute orders, and see PMS, AIF etc holdings that used to take 30 minutes across 3 provider logins. If the app is janky, if a mid range Android crashes on scroll, if startup drags, the trust breaks on the first tap. Mobile is where the relationship is now, not just where a feature lives.

This is a React Native first role. Not React on the web with mobile on the side. We want someone who has lived inside RN codebases, shipped to both stores over multiple releases, opened Xcode when the build broke, read a native stack trace from Sentry at 11pm, and fixed the bug that only shows up on a Redmi Note.

What you will own

Significant parts of the app across iOS and Android. Feature from problem statement to production. Architecture, implementation, testing, release.

Performance. Slow lists, janky animations, long startup, memory growth. The stuff a profiler tells you and the stuff it doesn't.

The release process end to end. Gradle and Xcode configs, signing, TestFlight, Play Console, CodePush or EAS staged rollouts,



version and rollout management.

Production crash triage from Sentry, root cause fixes, and the patterns other engineers on the team follow after that.

What you must bring

3 to 6 years of continuous hands on React Native work on apps that shipped and were then maintained over time. Not a POC. Not one project.

Depth in native module and third party SDK integration on both platforms. React Navigation at depth (nested navigators, state persistence, deep link handling). Reanimated or Gesture Handler. Real experience with permissions, deep linking, push, background tasks, safe areas, and keyboard behaviour.

Expert JavaScript, strong React, solid HTML and CSS fundamentals, comfort with Git and REST or GraphQL. TypeScript, Expo, Jest, RNTL, Detox or Maestro, Fastlane or Bitrise, MMKV or WatermelonDB, accessibility on mobile: all valuable to have, none of them the filter.
