Role & responsibilities

- Conduct in-process inspection of fabricated parts as per drawing and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

- Perform inspection of sub-assemblies and final assemblies as per General Arrangement Drawings (GAD) and P&ID.;

- Apply quality tools such as 7 QC tools, Why-Why analysis, and 8D for effective problem-solving.

- Carry out final inspection and testing of systems in accordance with customer requirements.

- Prepare and implement control plans and ensure adherence throughout the process.

- Maintain proper documentation and records of inspections and tests conducted.

- Assist in vendor assessment and vendor development in coordination with the purchase department.

- Participate in and support implementation of 5S, KAIZEN, and other continuous improvement activities.

- Monitor and verify surface preparation, blasting, painting, and powder coating quality, and maintain DFT check records.

- Conduct supplier inspections to verify capability and compliance with requirements.





- Coordinate with Production and Design teams to resolve quality concerns during manufacturing and contribute to continual improvement.

- Possess working knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS) as per ISO 9001:2015 and be capable of facing audits. (Internal auditor certification will be an added advantage.

- Knowledge of QMS

- PDI inspection skills

- Strong technical knowledge

- Familiar with ASME, ASTM standards

- Very positive documentation skills and communication skills, both written and verbal

- Painting, powder coating, process and audit experience and supplier evaluation skills

- Adaptability, flexibility, leadership and mentorship, teamwork and collaboration
