We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer (Automation) with strong expertise in test strategy, functional validation, and automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, hands-on programming experience, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in quick-paced, energetic environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement comprehensive test strategies across functional, integration,
and end-to-end testing
- Perform in-depth functional testing with strong analytical and problem-solving
capabilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and reusable test
scripts
- Execute testing across multiple layers, including UI, API, and performance/load
testing
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality-driven delivery
- Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution
- Ensure scalability, maintainability, and reliability of test automation suites
- Quickly adapt to short-term engagements and evolving project requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in QA with a strong focus on automation testing
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as:
- TypeScript / JavaScript (preferred)
- Java or any object-oriented programming language (good to have)
- Hands-on experience in at least two of the following areas:
- UI Automation
- API Testing
- Performance/Load Testing
- Experience with tools and frameworks such as:
- Playwright / Selenium
- Postman / REST Assured
- JMeter / Locust or equivalent
- Solid understanding of test design techniques, QA methodologies, and
SDLC/STLC
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Good to Have
- Experience in GenAI use case testing
- Exposure to AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience in test data management and service virtualization
