Project overview: You will contribute to a quality validation platform that ensures consistent behaviour of services, data flows, and user interfaces across a distributed system. The project focuses on automation coverage, API validation, and UI testing, with ongoing improvements to testing reliability and team wide quality practices.

- Position overview: You will work as a QA automation specialist responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites across backend and frontend components. You will validate data, APIs, and user interfaces, and support engineering teams by improving testing practices and helping others adopt automation workflows.
- This role follows standard India office hours and includes at least one hour of overlap with the United States Pacific time zone for coordinated sessions.

Technology stack: Python, Swagger, OpenAPI, SQL, JSON, APIs, Relational databases
- Responsibilities: Design and maintain automated test suites for backend services and user interfaces
- Validate REST APIs including functional behaviour, error handling, and data accuracy
- Perform data validation using SQL and NoSQL tools
- Support UI and UX testing with a focus on usability and consistency
- Analyse test outcomes and work with engineering teams to resolve issues




- Help maintain automation standards and contribute to improvements in testing coverage
- Assist other QA team members by sharing automation knowledge and best practices
- Contribute to documentation of test plans, test cases, and automated workflows
- Requirements: Demonstrated experience in a QA Engineer, SDET, Test Automation Engineer, or comparable technical testing role.
- Experience using AI tools for test development

- Experience with Playwright
- Experience with Python at least 2 years, and for external candidate Python has to be evaluated during TI
- Robust hands on API testing experience, including creating calls and analyzing JSON request and response payloads.
- Ability to work effectively with Swagger and OpenAPI specifications and API documentation.
- Strong SQL skills and experience validating data directly within relational databases.
- Experience testing integrations or distributed services where a transaction passes through multiple components.
- Ability to independently isolate whether a defect originates in source data, API processing, orchestration, persistence, or consumption.
- Experience designing or extending automated tests for APIs, integrations, or data pipelines.
- Clear written communication and disciplined defect documentation.
