About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Investment Engineering team. The team builds and enhances technology platforms that support investment operations, including order management, compliance, portfolio analytics, data infrastructure, and enterprise applications.

This is a highly hands-on engineering role requiring robust expertise in Python-based full-stack development and Vue.js . The ideal candidate will take ownership of projects end-to-end and drive delivery with minimal supervision. Experience with Generative AI technologies is a plus but not required .

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deliver full-stack applications using Python and React or Angular or Vue.js.
- Build scalable backend applications, services, and APIs using Python.
- Develop modern, responsive front-end applications using React or Angular or Vue.js.
- Take end-to-end ownership of features and workstreams—from requirements and architecture through development, deployment, and production support.
- Build and maintain integrations across APIs, databases, data pipelines, and enterprise systems.
- Support production systems and contribute to performance investigations, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Contribute to platform modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, architecture decisions, testing, and documentation.
- Exposure to AI/LLM technologies is a plus and may be leveraged for future platform enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8–14 years of software engineering experience, preferably in financial services, investment management, capital markets, or another enterprise environment.




- Strong hands-on expertise in Python and backend application development.
- Experience building Python-based APIs, microservices, data integrations, and production-grade applications.
- Hands-on experience with React or Angular or Vue.js for modern front-end development.
- Strong full-stack engineering fundamentals, including API design, databases, authentication, application architecture, testing, and deployment.
- Experience integrating applications across APIs, databases, data pipelines, and enterprise systems.
- Proven ability to work independently, drive projects autonomously, and take ownership of deliverables.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile development environments with a track record of delivering high-quality production software.

Nice to Have

- Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, or related technologies.
- Exposure to Vue.js
- Experience with Python AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, or similar.
- Familiarity with vector databases and AI integration patterns.
- Exposure to financial markets, investment management, trading, or capital markets.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
- Experience with data warehouse technologies such as Snowflake.
- Familiarity with Java or JVM-based enterprise systems.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise or multi-vendor environments.

The ideal candidate has strong Python full-stack engineering experience with Vue.js and a proven track record of building scalable, production-grade enterprise applications. Experience with Generative AI is considered an advantage but is not a mandatory requirement . A genuine curiosity about financial technology and solving complex engineering challenges will help you succeed in this role.
