Urgent opening for the profile of Senior Purchase Manager at location Lower Parel, Mumbai/ Mulund.

Educational Background: Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or related engineering discipline preferred).

Experience: 78 years of relevant experience in Purchase, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management (must have exxperience in manufacturing Industry) .

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement and purchasing activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial agreements.
- Source raw materials, consumables, engineering items, spare parts, and other required materials.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to support smooth production and business operations.
- Manage and coordinate the supply chain to ensure timely and cost-effective material availability.
- Monitor supplier lead times, logistics, inventory levels, and supply risks.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain proper procurement documentation.
- Conduct vendor evaluation, performance monitoring, and supplier development.
- Analyze market trends, material prices, and supply chain challenges.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement effective purchasing strategies.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Finance, Maintenance, and other internal departments.




- Ensure optimum inventory levels and avoid material shortages or excess stock.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
- Prepare purchase reports, MIS, and cost analysis for management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Educational Background: Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or related engineering discipline preferred).
- Experience: 78 years of relevant experience in Purchase, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management.
- Solid knowledge of Supply Chain Management, including sourcing, procurement, inventory planning, logistics, and vendor management.
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering industry will be preferred.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good knowledge of procurement processes, purchase documentation, and inventory management.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
