Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Purchase Engineer based in Aurangabad.

The Senior Purchase

Engineer will oversee end-to-end purchasing activities, including vendor identification, evaluation, and selection for engineering and manufacturing materials.

Responsibilities include managing purchase planning, preparing and tracking purchase orders, negotiating pricing and contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials in line with production schedules. The role involves analyzing procurement data, optimizing inventory levels,



and supporting cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality.

The Senior Purchase

Engineer will collaborate closely with production, quality, and finance teams to maintain efficient supply chain operations and align procurement decisions with organizational goals.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Purchasing Processes and Purchase Management, with experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Ability to handle Purchase Planning and Purchase Orders, including vendor coordination and documentation control.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills to assess supplier performance, cost structures, and material requirements.
- Experience in supplier negotiation, contract management, and development of long-term sourcing strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency with ERP or procurement software and solid skills in MS Excel and data analysis tools.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Prior experience in a senior or lead purchasing role within manufacturing, preferably with exposure to Aurangabad or similar industrial hubs.
