Role : Senior Project Director- Civil(General Management Services for Railway Projects)
Responsibilities
- Support Chief Project Director – Civil in day-to-day project management and supervision of Civil works under EPC or non-EPC contracts.
- Lead site-level construction supervision, quality control, technical audits, measurements, and progress monitoring for Civil/Structural works (foundations, superstructures, bridges, buildings, earthwork, P. Way, etc.).
- Review drawings, method statements, Quality Assurance Plans, and contractor’s planning/scheduling; recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct regular site inspections, ensure adherence to specifications, drawings, safety standards, and environmental mitigation measures.
- Coordinate with contractors, and client representatives
- Contribute to daily/weekly/monthly reports and project review meetings.
- Support Defects Liability Period activities and final documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 15 years’ experience in the construction industry for respective engineering positions and at least 3 years as Project Director or equivalent in Railways/Highways Projects
OR
- Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 15 years’ experience in the construction industry for respective engineering positions with at least 5 years’
experience in Junior Administrative Grade or equivalent Grade or above in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) in Indian Railways / Railway Public Sector Departments
