Design &

- Feasibility Leadership

- Drive comprehensive engineering reviews, including Engineering Feasibility, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), Design for Serviceability (DFS), and Manufacturing Feasibility Reviews (MFR).

- Lead technical studies spanning Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), material (RM) selection, mold shrinkage studies, and Moldflow Analysis (MFA) reviews.

- Coordinate CFT activities to execute robust product development, including prototype and mockup development.

- Review and approve checking fixture designs to ensure alignment with quality and gauging requirements.

2. BOM &

- Process Architecture Management

- Own the Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM), overseeing its accurate preparation, structuring, and lifecycle management.

- Analyze assembly structures and manufacturing process flows to optimize component integration.

Design

Verification &

- Product Validation (DV/PV)

- Define DV/PV requirements and secure official sign-offs with both internal stakeholders and external customers.

- Develop comprehensive test plans, coordinate test part readiness, and review/approve components prior to testing phases.

Build

Support, Issue Resolution &

- Craftsmanship





- Participate actively in internal and customer build phases, including First Time Quality (FTN) activities.

- Manage the Open Issues List, leading root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing permanent resolutions for build anomalies.

- Drive Color, Materials, and Finish (CMF) development alongside supplier grain map analysis to guarantee top-tier aesthetic craftsmanship.

Customer

Management &

- Engineering Sign-Off

- Act as the primary engineering window for customer and internal CFT communication, proactively leading and closing action items on time.

- Manage Engineering Sign-Off (ESO) by preparing, submitting, and securing approval for all necessary ESO documentation from the customer.

Key Requirements &

- Qualifications

- Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Production Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience: Relevant experience in automotive or product manufacturing environments handling plastic, sheet metal, or complex assemblies.

- Core Skills: Strong proficiency in DFMEA, Moldflow analysis, EBOM management, and root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5-Why).

- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and project tracking capabilities.
