Senior Product Designer (UI/UX) - Voice AI Platform

We are building a voice AI platform that has to win in a competitive market: agent creation, testing, deploy (phone and later web/WhatsApp), operations, analytics, billing, and developer tools - the same class of product as the platforms we have studied in depth.

Go-to-market is product-led. People should get value on their own: create something, try it, experience it work, and know what to do next - all without a sales demo. We serve everyday users and enterprises in the same product. Casual users need a short path to a working agent. Enterprises need depth in controls: call experience, call objective based optimisation, campaign controls, workflows, cost, APIs, and a lot more.

Lean too consumer and we lose companies; lean too console and we lose everyone else.

The job is to make it feel obvious. Web first; mobile later where it actually helps (monitoring, simple actions), not a clone of the full builder.

Why this role exists

AI has made building fast, coding capabilities are getting commoditized, and most teams can now ship at a high velocity. What still separates one platform from another is the experience layer: what the user actually sees, touches, and understands. That's where the remaining creative judgment in this job lives, and we think it's the edge that compounds over time.

So design here isn't a finishing pass. You won't decorate screens after the information architecture is frozen - you'll define who the user is, what they're trying to finish, and what to hide until they need it. Design decides whether someone stays, upgrades, or churns; in a market where anyone can build the same backend, it's the experience layer that's genuinely the differentiator.

We're looking for someone who's creative, not just competent - a little paranoid about UX and time-to-value,



instinctively pushing for "stupid simple" even when the system underneath is not. Someone who is deeply engrossed in thinking on the 2nd and 3rd order effects of thier design choices: if we simplify this, what breaks downstream; if we hide this, who gets stuck later. That kind of holistic thinking is what turns a feature list into a product people trust.

What you bring

Must have

- A track record on self-serve or product-led products where design measurably moved activation, completion, or conversion.
- Experience designing technical or operational products (builders, consoles, AI, comms, fintech, or similar) that still felt easy to a non-expert.
- Demonstrated ability to design for multiple user personas in one coherent system, not two disconnected apps.
- High craft in Figma, Figma make, plus fluency working directly with PMs and engineers on flows, states, and trade-offs.
- Accessibility built into the process, not a late-stage pass.

Nice to have

- Design experience on India-market, multilingual, or WhatsApp-class products.
- Live experience design, or dashboard and log-heavy interfaces.
- Billing, usage, and limits design that doesn't feel punitive.

- Comfort using AI tools for ideation, synthesis, or prototyping - with the judgment to evaluate their output critically.

What this role is not

- Visual-only work after the product is already hard to use.

- Enterprise-only admin design with no first-run story.
- Producing mockups without owning the outcomes they're meant to drive

2. Design owns the concept - you turn that into a concept note before a single screen gets drawn.
3. Fast iteration - quick passes on look and flow, tested against the objective, not polished in isolation.

4. High-fidelity, then handoff - engineering builds from finished designs, not guesses.
5. Growth closes the loop - the numbers tell us what's working and what's not, and we iterate from there.
