Senior Product Designer

4 – 8 years · Full-time · AI-fluent required THE ROLE

Zuper is a field service management platform built for the trades — complex operations, tight margins, and real people in the field. We're looking for a Senior Designer who can take genuinely complicated systems and make them feel obvious. You'll design for dispatchers, project managers, and contractors who don't have time to figure out software. Your job is to make sure they never have to.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Own end-to-end design for complex product surfaces — from untangling a workflow all the way through to a polished, production-ready UI

- Map systems before you design them — understand how data, roles, and states interact before picking up a design tool

- Design AI-powered features that feel useful, not experimental — surfaces where intelligence shows up at the right moment, not everywhere

- Work directly with product and engineering to shape what gets built, not just how it looks

- Contribute to and extend the Prelude design system — making it more expressive and more scalable at the same time

- Talk to customers — constantly. Interviews, usability sessions, site visits. You'll have more direct customer access here than most design roles offer

- Set the quality bar on your work and help the team get there on theirs

You take workflows with 40 states and turn them into something a dispatcher can use without training. The complexity disappears into the product.

Building with AI

You use AI tools daily — Cursor, Claude, Figma AI — not occasionally.



You prototype faster and explore wider because of it.

Designing for AI

You understand how to design surfaces where AI is a collaborator, not a gimmick — confidence levels, fallback states, when to surface and when to step back.

Craft

Your details are intentional. You notice when spacing is off, when motion is distracting, when a label is doing two jobs at once.

Communication

You can walk an engineer through a decision without a 30-slide deck. You write clearly, you get to the point.

Customer obsession

You will talk to customers more here than you probably have in your entire career. You treat that as a design input, not a support function — and you seek it out, not wait for it.

Ownership

We don't hand you a and expect you to stay in it. You figure out what the work needs and you do it — whether that's writing copy, defining a spec, or jumping into a customer call mid-sprint.

Experience

4 – 8 years designing product UI. At least one stint on a B2B or enterprise product at meaningful scale.
