About the Company

Jay Air System Private Limited is an HVAC solutions company providing air-conditioning, ventilation, and engineering solutions for commercial and industrial projects. We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement operations, vendor management, cost optimization, and strategic sourcing.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the complete procurement and purchase function of the company.
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with business requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Manage strategic sourcing for HVAC equipment, components, engineering materials, and project requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, credit facilities, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions.
- Review and approve vendor quotations and commercial comparisons as per company approval procedures.
- Monitor and manage Purchase Orders from placement through final delivery.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials as per project and operational requirements.
- Coordinate closely with Projects, Sales, Estimation, Stores, Accounts, Service, and Management teams.
- Develop alternative vendors and maintain a strong supplier network to ensure business continuity.
- Conduct regular vendor performance evaluations based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.
- Resolve supplier-related issues including delays, quality concerns, shortages, replacements, and commercial disputes.
- Monitor market prices, material availability, and industry trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key suppliers and strategic vendors.
- Ensure procurement is carried out within approved budgets and company policies.




- Monitor inventory requirements in coordination with the Store and Project teams.
- Maintain proper procurement documentation, vendor records, quotation comparisons, and purchase reports.
- Prepare regular MIS and procurement performance reports for management.
- Guide and supervise the procurement/purchase team and ensure effective allocation of responsibilities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and procurement efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement procedures and approval systems.

Qualification Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a relevant field.

Preferred Candidate

- 7–10 years of relevant experience in Procurement / Purchase.
- Experience in HVAC, MEP, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Construction industries will be preferred.
- Strong vendor network and market knowledge.
- Experience in managing a procurement team.
- Should be capable of independently handling strategic and operational procurement activities.
