Technical Product Owner - Digital and Life Insurance

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Owner with extensive experience in digital solutions and life insurance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in product management, with a proven track record of delivering successful products in the insurance domain. This role requires a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that product development aligns with customer needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities:

- Define and prioritize product features and requirements based on market research, customer feedback, and business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to deliver high-quality digital products.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on product development and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with the overall business strategy and market trends.
- Utilize Agile methodologies to manage product backlogs, sprints, and releases effectively.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure product functionality meets business requirements.
- Analyze product performance metrics and user feedback to inform future product iterations and enhancements.




- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in digital and life insurance to drive innovation.

Mandatory Skills:

- Strong expertise in Product Management, with a focus on digital products in the life insurance sector.
- Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner or similar role, with a deep understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience in developing product roadmaps and managing product backlogs.

Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with insurance industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience with user experience (UX) design principles and practices.
- Knowledge of digital transformation initiatives within the insurance sector.
- Proficiency in product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- 8-10 years of experience in product management, with a focus on digital solutions in the life insurance industry.
- Relevant certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) are preferred.
