Role Description The Senior Procurement Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhagalpur. This position is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing suppliers, requesting quotations, evaluating proposals, and issuing purchase orders for materials, equipment, and services. The role involves negotiating contracts and pricing, monitoring vendor performance, and ensuring timely delivery in line with project schedules and quality standards.

Officer will collaborate closely with project, engineering, finance, and site management teams to forecast material requirements, control costs,



and maintain accurate procurement documentation. Daily tasks include reviewing inventory levels, analyzing market trends, resolving supply issues, and enforcing company policies and compliance requirements within the procurement function.

Qualifications

- Strong procurement and purchasing skills, with experience managing end-to-end sourcing and vendor management.
- Hands-on experience with purchase orders, including creation, review, tracking, and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in contract negotiation, vendor terms discussion, and securing cost-effective, quality-focused agreements.
- Well-developed analytical skills for cost analysis, rate comparison, demand forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, or related industries is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Bhagalpur and coordinate effectively with cross-functional project teams.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with ERP or procurement software and basic MS Office tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage.
