Senior Process Engineer – Oil & Gas | FEED & FPSO

Key Responsibilities

- Lead planning and execution of FEED and detailed engineering for upstream and downstream Oil & Gas projects.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs;, process datasheets, operating manuals, and design documentation .
- Perform and review process simulations using Aspen HYSYS / Aspen Plus and validate results against client specifications, project requirements, and international codes.
- Review and approve material specifications, line lists, equipment selection, and process philosophies .
- Lead and participate in HAZOP and SIL reviews , ensuring findings are effectively incorporated into process safety systems.
- Conduct and review vendor technical bid evaluations and provide technical clarifications during RFQ and procurement stages.
- Interface with clients, EPC partners, vendors, and site teams to ensure effective project execution and technical alignment.
- Act as the technical point of contact for the Process Engineering discipline during design reviews and client meetings.

Leadership & Project Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor a team of 4–8 Process Engineers , providing technical guidance and reviewing discipline deliverables.
- Ensure process engineering activities meet project milestones, QA/QC requirements,



applicable codes, and client specifications .
- Drive effective multidisciplinary coordination across engineering, procurement, construction, and site teams.
- Promote efficient use of engineering tools including HYSYS, Excel, and AutoCAD .
- Support the training, development, and onboarding of junior Process Engineers in accordance with company engineering standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of process engineering workflows, technical standards, and project execution practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering , or a related discipline.
- 7–10 years of relevant Oil & Gas experience , including a minimum of 5 years in FEED leadership .
- Proven experience in offshore and FPSO project environments .
- Solid knowledge of applicable industry standards, including:
- API
- ASME B31.3
- IEC 61511
- DNV standards
- Strong hands-on expertise in Aspen HYSYS and process simulation.
- Excellent technical, communication, leadership, and client-facing skills .

Preferred / Desired Qualifications

- HAZOP Leadership certification or equivalent.
- BOSIET / HUET or relevant offshore safety training.
- Experience with modularisation and digital engineering deliverables .
- Experience working with international clients, EPC contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
