Senior PowerBuilder Developer / Modernization Lead

Experience: 45 Years

We are looking for a hands-on PowerBuilder Developer with strong experience in PowerBuilder development and application modernization/migration.

What we are looking for:

- Strong hands-on experience in PowerBuilder
- Experience with PowerBuilder 2019 or later and older versions
- Strong PowerScript and DataWindow experience
- Experience with PFC / PowerBuilder frameworks
- Strong SQL skills – complex queries, Stored Procedures, indexing and query tuning
- Experience with SQL Server / Oracle / Sybase – at least 2 databases
- Hands-on experience in PowerBuilder modernization, migration or re-engineering
- Experience in application assessment,



migration planning and delivery
- Good understanding of application architecture and breaking legacy applications into modules/services
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Experience with Git and defect/task tracking tools

Positive to have:

- Appeon PowerBuilder / PowerServer / PowerBuilder .NET
- Azure or AWS
- .NET / C# or Java
- REST API knowledge

Key requirement: Candidates should have strong hands-on PowerBuilder + SQL experience along with actual modernization/migration project exposure.
