We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Engineer to join our growing engineering team delivering projects across Australia, the UK, and the US. The successful candidate will have solid experience in Oil & Gas piping systems, be comfortable working directly with international clients, and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Design piping systems for pipelines, process plants, and oil & gas facilities.

- Prepare and review piping layouts, piping plans, isometrics, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.

- Develop and interpret Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;).

- Design piping systems for water treatment, pumping stations, pipelines, process plants, and oil & gas facilities.

- Perform piping routing, equipment layout coordination, and piping material selection.

- Coordinate closely with Process, Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams.

- Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian, UK, US, and international codes and standards.

- Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, constructability reviews, and client meetings.

- Communicate directly with international clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.





- Mentor junior engineers and CAD designers.

- Support project planning, estimation, scheduling, and technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

- 7+ years of piping design experience within Oil & Gas industry

- Strong ASME B31.3, API, ISO and related standards knowledge.

- Able to develop calculations and specifications to code requirements.

- Experience in process plant design, pipe and equipment layouts, routing, supporting.

- Pipe stress analysis, including use of Hexagon Caesar II software.

- Experience on Australian, UK or US projects.

- Field experience in addition to in-office experience.

- Not mandatory competency, but interested also in API 579 fitness for service experience, Level 1 to Level 3 assessments

- Not mandatory competency but interested also in static equipment design (ASME VIII vessels, API tanks) and rotating equipment.

- Experience with P&IDs; and AutoCAD Plant 3D.

- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

- Experience working with international clients.
