The purpose of the role is to packaging development.
Job Duties & Key Responsibilities
- Duties and Responsibilities - 1. Design & Develop new packaging product from concept to dispatch, with specific responsibilities that includes Packaging Design, Functionality, Appearance & Operational capability 2. Aligning packaging development based on inputs from Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Production and also considering the market trends and customer feedback.
- Give an end to end packaging solution to increase the productivity and analyze cost implications.
- Carry out all packaging development initiatives which involves, mapping of business requirements & in depth evaluation of customer feedback to carry out modifications / innovation.
- Provide necessary costing inputs to marketing for recent product development 6. Analyzing & developing packaging samples, prototype & structures on conducting product packaging compatibility study to analyze storage capability of products throughout shelf life.
- Vendor visit, Audit & technical qualification to develop reliable source 8. New vendor development for paper & paper boards / Inks / varnishes / films etc., in coordination with Supply Chain Department 9.
Coordinating
Artwork approvals with cross functional teams 10. Support QA / QC Department with preparation of SOP related to packaging department 11. Planning & evaluation of packaging line trails at shop floor during production.
