Responsibilities

As a Senior Node.js Developer (m/f/d), you will design and build scalable end services that power our payment platform. Working with modern cloud technologies, event-driven architectures and AWS, you will develop secure, high-performance solutions while actively contributing to architectural decisions and the continuous evolution of our platform.

What you’ll do:

- Professional software development using Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS, SAM), REST APIs, and event-driven architectures
- AI supported development process with Claude
- Active shaping of the software architecture and contributions to design decisions
- Developing, testing, and documenting the planned functionality
- Working in a small, self-reliant Scrum team




- Documentation of planning and implementation processes in the project management software Jira and Confluence

Desired Candidate Profile
- Several years of professional experience as a Node.js end Developer.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of software architecture and end design principles.
- In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL, including SQL optimization and query performance tuning.
- Robust understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures and message queues (AWS SQS or RabbitMQ).
- Hands-on experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS, SAM).
- Proficiency in Docker and Docker Compose.
- Familiarity with Redis and caching concepts.
- Proficient English.
