Senior New Relic APM Application Performance Monitoring APM Engineer with strong expertise in application observability, performance monitoring, and multi-cloud environments. The role is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and ongoing support of the New Relic APM platform as part of Business-as-Usual BAU operations, ensuring end-to-end visibility across applications, services, and cloud infrastructure. The successful candidate will possess deep experience in Application Performance Monitoring, including application instrumentation, transaction tracing, performance analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization of business-critical applications deployed across AWS and Azure cloud environments. In addition to solid technical capabilities, the candidate must possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, as the role involves regular collaboration with development teams, cloud architects, security teams, application owners, and business stakeholders across AWS and Azure environments. Key Responsibilities New Relic Platform Administration Administer and maintain the New Relic One platform and associated observability capabilities. Manage platform configuration, alert policies, workflows, dashboards, and integrations. Ensure platform availability, reliability, and adherence to governance standards. Support user management, access controls, and role-based permissions RBAC. Application Performance Monitoring APM Monitor and analyze the performance, availability, and reliability of enterprise applications. Configure and maintain New Relic APM instrumentation across application environments. Utilize transaction tracing, distributed tracing, and dependency mapping to identify performance bottlenecks. Investigate application latency,



error rates, throughput issues, and service degradation. Collaborate with application teams to improve application performance and user experience. Establish and monitor SLIs, SLOs, and performance KPIs. Provide proactive recommendations for application optimization and performance tuning. Dashboard Reporting Design, develop, and maintain custom dashboards using NRQL and New Relic visualization tools. Deliver operational and executive reporting on application health, performance, and service availability. Create meaningful monitoring views for application owners, operations teams, and business stakeholders. Multi-Cloud Monitoring Observability Implement and maintain end-to-end observability across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform GCP. Monitor cloud-native and distributed applications running on virtual machines, containers, Kubernetes, and managed cloud services. Ensure consistent monitoring standards across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Support cloud platform integrations and observability best practices. Incident Performance Management Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities using APM and observability data. Correlate metrics, logs, traces, and events to identify and resolve performance issues. Participate in major incident support and performance review activities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application reliability and user experience.
