Job Title- Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced L2/L3 Network Engineer to be a critical member of our network operations team. The ideal candidate will possess deep, hands-on expertise in configuring, maintaining, and advanced troubleshooting of enterprise- level network infrastructure, with a specialized focus on Juniper (routing/switching/security) and Aruba (wired and wireless) solutions. This role involves both operational support (L2/L3 incident resolution) and project-based implementation/design activities.

Juniper technologies and certifications, including JNCIE-ENT (Juniper Networks Certified Internet Expert - Enterprise), JNCDS-DC (Juniper Networks Certified Design Specialist - Data Centre), WAN (Wide Area Network), and SEC (Security) certifications.

The Network

Engineer will be responsible for overseeing network infrastructure, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring optimal performance and security across the network.

Key Responsibilities

1. Configuration & Implementation Juniper Platform Management: Expertly configure and maintain routing, switching, and security devices, including but not limited to Juniper MX, EX, and SRX series. Aruba Platform Management: Design, deploy, and support enterprise-grade wireless and wired solutions using Aruba switches, Access Points (Aps), Controllers, Aruba ClearPass, and Aruba Airwave/Central. Internetworking: Configure and manage advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS) and Layer 2 technologies (VLANs, STP, Link Aggregation) across multi-vendor environments. implement and manage VPNs (IPSec/SSL), network segmentation, and access controls.
2. Advanced Troubleshooting & Operations (L2/L3)

Serve as the final escalation point (L3)



for complex and critical network incidents performing root cause analysis (RCA) and ensuring quick resolution. Conduct in-depth performance monitoring and tuning, capacity planning, and proactive issue resolution to maximize network uptime. Utilize network diagnostic tools (Wireshark, network monitoring systems) to analyze traffic and isolate complex L2/L3 issues. Manage and execute network changes via established change management processes (ITIL).
1. Design & Documentation:

Contribute to the low-level design and architecture of scalable, secure, and reliable network solutions. Create and maintain detailed network diagrams, configuration backups, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other technical documentation. Collaborate with security and architecture teams to enforce network security policies and best practices.

Required Skills

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a Network Engineering role, operating at L2/L3 support tiers.
- Vendor Expertise: Strong, demonstrable proficiency with Juniper (Junos OS) and Aruba (Aruba OS, ClearPass) product lines.
- Technical Depth: Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, Layer 2 (STP, VLANs), and Layer 3 (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) protocols.
- Security: Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network access control (NAC) concepts (specifically Aruba ClearPass experience is highly desired).

• Certifications (Highly Preferred): JNCIS/JNCIP, ACCP/ACCP-D/ACMP,



or equivalent professional-level certifications (e.g., CCNP).
- Soft Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to work in an on-call rotation as required.

Qualifications: • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- Certifications: Mandatory: JNCS, JNCDS-DC (Or Equivalent)
- Additional certifications in network engineering or security are a plus. • Experience: 3-4 years of experience as a network engineer, with a focus on enterprise networks. data center environments, and security. • In-depth experience with Juniper routers, switches, firewalls, and related network devices.

• Hands-on experience with WAN technologies (MPLS, VPN, BGP, OSPF, etc.)
- Strong understanding of network security concepts, including IPSec, SSL VPN. and firewall configuration. Skills
- Advanced knowledge of Designing Juniper networking solutions and their configuration

- Familiarity with network management tools, monitoring systems, and performance analysis.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Preferred Skills:

- Experience and certification with other networking technologies such as Aruba, Cisco, Fortinet and Palo Alto is a plus.
- Experience and certification in Aruba and Juniper wireless networks is a plus.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior network engineers.
- Experience with cloud-based networking and hybrid network models is beneficial.
