Senior Microsoft Entra ID OR Azure AD SME Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Entra ID OR Azure AD Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide advanced technical expertise and guidance for enterprise identity and access management solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, implementing, optimizing, and troubleshooting identity services in Microsoft Entra ID OR Azure AD environments. This role requires strong hands-on administration experience and automation capabilities using PowerShell.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the technical authority and subject matter expert for Microsoft Entra ID OR Azure AD.
- Design and implement enterprise-scale identity and access management solutions using Microsoft Entra ID OR Azure AD.
- Configure and manage identity services, including user provisioning, authentication, and access management.
- Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot identity-related security and access control policies.
- Support hybrid identity environments and integration between cloud and on-premises identity platforms.
- Lead identity modernization, migration, and consolidation initiatives involving Microsoft Entra ID OR Azure AD.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell to streamline administrative and operational processes.
- Optimize the performance, scalability, and security of the identity platform.
- Collaborate with security, compliance, and application teams to ensure seamless identity services.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture designs, and operational procedures.
- Mentor and guide junior team members on Microsoft Entra ID OR Azure AD and PowerShell best practices.
- Stay current with platform enhancements, industry trends, and emerging identity management technologies.

Experience
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in identity and access management, including Microsoft Entra ID OR Azure AD administration, design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise-scale identity solutions.
- Experience leading technical projects and mentoring junior team members.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300)
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate (MS-500)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
