Role Description The Senior Merchandiser will manage end-to-end merchandising activities for knit garments, including product development, sampling, and order execution in alignment with buyer specifications and timelines.

Responsibilities include coordinating with design, production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure accurate costing, efficient workflow, and on-time delivery, while maintaining adherence to international quality standards. The role involves daily communication with existing and potential buyers, preparing presentations and reports, analyzing market trends,



and supporting pricing and negotiation strategies. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, requiring close collaboration with factory operations and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for clear interaction with buyers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service and Sales skills to manage buyer relationships, handle inquiries, and support order conversions.
- Candidates should possess Retail and Marketing skills to understand market trends, product positioning, and brand requirements.
- Candidates should have experience in apparel merchandising, preferably in knit garments and export-oriented environments.
- Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in order tracking, costing, and documentation, with strong attention to detail and time management.
- A bachelor’s degree in Fashion Technology, Textile Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with international brands and familiarity with compliance, quality standards, and shipment procedures is an advantage.
