Role Description The Senior Merchandiser role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru.

The Senior

Merchandiser will manage the end-to-end merchandising process, including product planning, sample development, and coordination with production teams to ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities include analyzing market trends and customer preferences, developing product assortments, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams to optimize product placement and pricing. The role requires close interaction with retail partners and key accounts, monitoring inventory levels,



and preparing regular reports on sales performance and product profitability.

The Senior

Merchandiser will also lead vendor communication, negotiate terms, and support continuous improvement in merchandising strategies and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
- Sales and Retail experience to manage product assortments, drive store performance, and support key accounts.
- Marketing skills to support product positioning, promotions, and brand visibility in apparel and textile markets.
- Experience in merchandising, apparel, or textiles, preferably in a senior or supervisory capacity.
- Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and inventory metrics to make informed merchandising decisions.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and merchandising tools; familiarity with ERP or inventory systems is an advantage.
- Robust organizational and negotiation skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Fashion Merchandising, Textiles, Business, or a related field is preferred.
