Role Description The Senior Managing Director is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Abroad, responsible for overseeing overall business operations and strategic growth for Esse India’s immigration and visa consulting services. This role includes developing and executing business strategies, setting performance goals, and ensuring compliance with relevant immigration policies and regulatory requirements.

Director will lead and mentor consulting and support teams, establish service standards, and monitor client satisfaction to maintain the firm’s reputation for trustworthy and effective guidance. Daily responsibilities include managing key stakeholder relationships, driving revenue and profitability, optimizing internal processes,



and representing the organization in high-level meetings and industry forums. The role also involves reviewing complex client cases, supporting decision-making on critical applications, and ensuring that ethical, client-centered practices are consistently followed.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with experience guiding cross-functional teams and senior staff.
- Strong strategic planning and business development capabilities, including experience in scaling professional services or consulting operations.
- In-depth understanding of immigration or legal consulting environments, preferably with exposure to Canadian immigration processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to engage clients, partners, and regulatory bodies effectively.
- Proven ability in operational management, including process improvement, performance tracking, and quality assurance.
- High level of integrity, ethical decision-making, and client-centric mindset, with a focus on trust and transparency.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Law, International Relations, or a related field; relevant certifications in immigration or compliance are an advantage.
- Experience working in or managing multi-location teams and familiarity with the Indian skilled services market.
