About the Role The role is primarily responsible for managing the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, including related compliance requirements, while driving process improvements, enhancing analytics, and maintaining high standards of operational efficiency and service delivery.

Job Responsibilities / Deliverables

- Ensure a robust internal control framework across the Accounts Payable function.
- Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable operations while meeting defined SLAs and turnaround times (TAT), and proactively drive adherence to reverse SLAs from stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor a team of 4 to 5 members, fostering accountability, development, and high performance.
- Maximize SAP utilization by leveraging system capabilities to improve efficiency, controls, and reporting.
- Identify and drive automation initiatives to streamline Accounts Payable processes and enhance productivity.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives, process improvements, and organizational initiatives.
- Month-end closing activities and quarterly audit support
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, tax, regulatory, MSME and company policy requirements related to Accounts Payable.
- Develop and enhance analytics, dashboards, and management reporting to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.

Qualifications & Pre-Requisites

- Mature finance qualified with 8+ years of experience in Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing, vendor payments, reconciliations, reporting, automation and related compliance activities.
- M.Com / B.Com / MBA Finance with strong academic credentials
- Hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of SAP is mandatory; ability to leverage SAP capabilities for process optimization and reporting will be highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and cultures.
- Exposure to process automation, digital transformation initiatives, and continuous improvement projects is desirable.
