- Lead automation of injection moulding machines using robots, servo systems, PLC, HMI, sensors and EOAT.

- Implement 3-axis/6-axis robots, sprue pickers, part pickers and automated material/part handling.

- Develop automation for insert loading, part unloading, de-gating, trimming, inspection and assembly.

- Integrate robots and automation systems with injection moulding machines.

- Develop automatic process monitoring, interlocking, poka-yoke and safety systems.

- Optimize machine cycle time and develop automatic cycle-sequence controls.

- Identify opportunities for manpower reduction, OEE improvement and consistent quality.

- Lead automation projects from concept specification vendor selection design FAT installation commissioning validation.

- Prepare CAPEX and ROI/payback analysis for automation projects.

- Troubleshoot PLC, sensors, robotics, pneumatic and electrical automation issues.

- Work with Tool Room to ensure automation-ready moulds, EOAT and mould interfaces.

- Develop preventive-maintenance and standardization systems for automated equipment.

- Drive Industry 4.0, machine connectivity, OEE monitoring and data collection.

- Lead and develop Process, Automation and Maintenance engineering teams.

- Lead injection moulding process development, optimization, trials and validation for recent and existing automotive components.

- Drive DFM, mould feasibility, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP and process capability activities.





- Manage mould trials, process parameters, cycle-time optimization, rejection reduction and OEE improvement.

- Lead automation and robotics projects including part handling, insert loading, trimming, assembly, inspection, vision systems and poka-yoke.

- Identify automation opportunities and manage concept, vendor selection, CAPEX, installation, commissioning and ROI.

- Lead commercial Tool Room activities including tool feasibility, costing, design review, tool development, trials, corrections and customer delivery.

- Manage external tool vendors and develop the Tool Room as a profitable commercial business.

- Ensure automation-ready mould/tool designs and integration with injection moulding machines.

- Drive Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, SMED, TPM and continuous-improvement initiatives.

- Lead Process, Tooling and Automation Engineers/Technicians and develop technical competencies.

- Interface with OEM/Tier-1 customers, suppliers and internal cross-functional teams.

- Drive Industry 4.0 initiatives including OEE monitoring, traceability, process monitoring and machine data collection.
