Role & responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end HR operations for the plant recruitment, onboarding, attendance, payroll inputs, and exit formalities

- Handle industrial relations, workmen/contract labour management, and liaison with unions where applicable

- Ensure statutory compliance under Factories Act, ID Act, PF, ESI, and other labour laws applicable to plant operations

- Drive employee engagement, welfare initiatives, and grievance redressal at the plant

- Coordinate with corporate HR on policy rollout, performance management, and HR MIS reporting

- Manage contract labour compliance, vendor coordination, and statutory audits/inspections

- Support manpower planning and workforce budgeting for the plant

- Liaise with local administration,



labour department, and government bodies as required

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate/Postgraduate in HR/Personnel Management/MSW or equivalent

- 510 years of experience in plant/manufacturing HR, preferably in steel, cement, mining, or heavy industries

- Strong knowledge of labour laws, industrial relations, and statutory compliance

- Experience managing workmen and contract labour in a plant setting

- Good communication skills in Hindi and English; local language (Chhattisgarhi) is a plus
