About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Investment Engineering team. The team builds and enhances technology platforms that support investment operations, including order management, compliance, portfolio analytics, data infrastructure, and low-latency services.

This is a highly hands-on engineering role requiring strong expertise in Java backend development, Vue.js, distributed systems, and high-performance application design. Experience with Generative AI technologies is a plus but not required .

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deliver full-stack applications using Java and React or Angular or Vue.js.
- Build scalable backend services, APIs, and distributed systems using modern Java frameworks.
- Develop contemporary, responsive front-end applications using React or Angular or Vue.js.
- Design and optimize low-latency, high-throughput services using Aeron-based messaging frameworks.
- Take end-to-end ownership of features from design through development, deployment, and production support.
- Build and maintain integrations across APIs, messaging systems, databases, and enterprise platforms.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize system performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and business stakeholders to deliver robust technical solutions.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and technical documentation.
- Contribute to platform modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.




- Exposure to AI/LLM technologies is a plus and may be leveraged for future platform enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8–14 years of software engineering experience, preferably in financial services, investment management, capital markets, or other enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java and enterprise backend development.
- Experience building REST APIs, distributed systems, and full-stack applications.
- Strong experience with React or Angular or Vue.js.
- Experience with Aeron or similar low-latency messaging frameworks.
- Strong understanding of concurrency, multithreading, asynchronous processing, messaging, and performance optimization.
- Experience integrating applications across APIs, databases, messaging platforms, and enterprise systems.
- Proven ability to independently drive projects from design through delivery.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.

Nice to Have

- Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, or related technologies.
- Exposure to Vue.js
- Python experience, particularly for automation or AI integrations.
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, vector databases, or similar frameworks.
- Exposure to financial markets, investment management, trading, or capital markets.
- Experience building high-performance or real-time systems.
- Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with Snowflake or other data warehouse technologies.
- Experience working in large enterprise or multi-vendor environments.
