ESCRIBA AG is a software company headquartered in Berlin, with additional locations in Bangalore (India), Serbia, and North Macedonia. To strengthen our IT team at the Bangalore site, we are looking for an experienced Senior IT Administrator who takes end-to-end ownership of infrastructure, security, and end-user support in close cooperation with our Berlin headquarters.

Your responsibilities

- Administer and secure our Microsoft 365 environment (Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune, Conditional Access) at an expert level

- Operate and maintain Linux server infrastructure (SUSE, RHEL, Debian)

- Manage endpoints via Microsoft Intune (MDM, Autopilot, Win32 app deployment, compliance policies)

- Provide the full support portfolio: local end-user support on site as well as global L2/L3 administration

- Operate and troubleshoot the network stack, including firewalls (Sophos), WLAN (Aruba Instant On), VPN, and routing

- Support and further develop our zero-trust / VPN environment (NetBird) and IAM integrations (Entra ID, Keycloak, etc.)

- Run containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes) and support virtualization (vmware and others)

- Contribute to security operations: monitoring, log analysis, patch and vulnerability management, incident response

- Maintain clear technical documentation in line with our ISO 27001 framework

- Collaborate across time zones with the HQ IT team in Berlin

Your profile

- Several years of professional experience (5+)



in a comparable senior IT administration role

- Excellent command of Microsoft 365 administration and security

- Excellent command of Linux server administration (SUSE, RHEL, Debian)

- Full understanding and hands-on practice of the network stack

- Solid understanding and hands-on practice with VPN technologies, ideally based on Wireguard

- Solid understanding and hands-on practice with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Good understanding of IAM integration(Entra ID, Keycloak)

- Strong scripting and automation skills(PowerShell, Microsoft Graph; Bash a plus)

- Familiarity with an ITSM / ticketing workflow and SLA-driven support (GLPI a plus)

- Awareness of ISO 27001 principles and structured documentation

- English at B2/C1 level; German is a plus

- Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset

- Willingness to travel occasionally,including to our HQ in Berlin

Nice to have

- Relevant certifications, e.g. MS-102,SC-300, AZ-500, RHCSA / LFCS, CKA

- Experience with backup and recovery concepts (e.g. Veeam)

- Experience in a multi-site, international enterprise environment
