Ishan Homes is looking for an experienced Interior Designer who can independently take a residential floor from architectural plans to a complete interior design.

Responsibilities

- Study architectural drawings and floor plans and develop complete interior concepts for builder floors.
- Develop effective space planning and furniture layouts considering functionality, circulation, aesthetics and usability.
- Design bedrooms, bathrooms, living and dining areas, kitchens, mandir spaces, passages, balconies and other residential spaces.
- Design false ceilings, flooring layouts, wall treatments, wardrobes, lighting and other interior elements.




- Prepare accurate 2D layouts and working drawings for execution.
- Create detailed 3D models and realistic renders to clearly visualize the final design.
- Select and specify materials, finishes, colours, furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E;) in line with the overall design language and project requirements.
- Work independently and complete designs within project timelines with minimal supervision.
- Coordinate design requirements with architects, contractors, vendors and the internal construction team.
- Present and communicate design concepts clearly to management, clients and other stakeholders.
- Maintain organized drawings, design files and revisions for each project.

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of residential interior design experience.
- Strong understanding of space planning, materials, finishes, FF&E;, furniture layouts, false ceilings, flooring and lighting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp or Similar.
- Experience with V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion, 3ds Max or similar rendering software.
- Ability to create detailed 2D working drawings and professional-quality 3D visualizations.
- Solid portfolio demonstrating complete residential interior projects.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple spaces and projects independently and efficiently.
