APAC HR Shared Services Hub Lead (Leading Healthcare MNC)

Our client is a leading global healthcare organisation with an established presence across the Asia-Pacific region. As part of a wider HR transformation, the organisation is establishing a Regional HR Shared Services Hub in Bangalore to deliver consistent, efficient and technology-enabled HR services across APAC.

We are seeking an experienced HR Shared Services leader to build and lead this new regional hub. This is a key leadership position responsible for setting up the operating structure, transitioning HR activities from multiple countries and developing a high-performing team of approximately 20 HR specialists.

Working closely with senior HR and business leaders, you will establish the processes, governance and service standards required to support a successful transition towards a centralised HR service delivery model.

Key Responsibilities

- Establish and lead the APAC HR Shared Services Hub in Bangalore, including its operating structure, processes and governance framework.
- Support the implementation of the organisation’s current HR operating model across the region.
- Lead the transition of HR operational activities from individual countries into the regional hub.
- Recruit, develop and manage a team of approximately 20 HR shared services professionals.
- Define service levels, performance measures and escalation processes to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Monitor shared services KPIs and implement improvements across HR processes and workflows.




- Standardise HR operational processes while ensuring compliance with local employment requirements and data governance standards.
- Drive the adoption of HR systems, workflow automation and AI-enabled HR tools.
- Partner closely with regional HR leaders, country HR teams and senior business stakeholders throughout the transition.
- Build a customer-focused culture based on accountability, service quality and continuous improvement.
- Identify operational risks, resolve service issues and maintain high standards across the hub.

Requirements

- Strong HR leadership experience within a shared services, regional HR operations or multi-site environment.
- Proven experience building an HR shared services team or regional service hub from the ground up.
- Demonstrated success leading and developing sizeable HR operations teams.
- Strong understanding of operational HR processes, employment regulations, HR compliance and data governance across multiple markets.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, workflow automation and technology-enabled HR service delivery.
- Proven ability to improve HR service delivery and shared services performance metrics.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across HR and the wider business.
- Comfortable making decisions and delivering results in a fast-moving and high-pressure environment.
- Resilient, solutions-oriented and able to maintain high operational standards.
- Fluent in English.
